My Philosophy

Each Challenge is an Opportunity to Learn

I'm not ashamed to admit that there have been several occasions where I have been asked to develop or design something and I had no idea where to begin. Despite this I still took on the project and began researching and researching and steadily a solution formed.

These experiences taught me a valuable lesson, challenges are how we learn. It seems like a really simple and obvious principle but in my experience people feel they should know how to do something and if they don't know they shouldn't take on the challenge. In general this makes sense and is largely how our world is designed hence why we have Plumbers, Architects, Developers, etc.

So this is why my general philosophy is based around challenges. Each problem that needs solved presents its own challenges and that's fantastic, that means I can learn more and contribute to the profession with quality work and furthering the understanding of the industry. This is truly why I love web and game design / development. They are constantly evolving and present new opportunities and challenges.
